Sawkar Homoeopathic Medical College, Satara, was established in 1998 and is located in Maharashtra. The Central Council of Homoeopathy has approved this institution, which offers a Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) programme. This college is affiliated with MUHS Nashik. This affiliated college, spread over a vast 2-acre campus, Sawkar Homoeopathic Medical College has a student enrolment of 357 with a faculty of 32 members. 

The college provides a wide range of facilities to its students for a complete learning experience. The girls' hostel accommodates 120 students in well-ventilated rooms with all necessary facilities combined with security 24/7. A health centre with first-aid facilities caters to the medical needs of the students. The College Library is a treasure house for Homeopathic Literature, which helps the students in their studies. For the Sports and Game inclined, the Sawkar Homoeopathic Medical College Gymkhana offers volleyball, table tennis, carrom and chess facilities for various indoor and outdoor games. Various well-equipped laboratories of different departments are there, catering to practical learning. 

Only one course is offered by Sawkar Homoeopathic Medical College: Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery. The course is full-time, spanning six years with a compulsory internship of one year. 

Sawkar Homoeopathic Medical College admits students on the basis of merit and in accordance with the rules and regulations prescribed by the Directorate of Medical Education and Research. The candidate should pass the SSC and HSC examinations or equivalents from the State of Maharashtra. The admissions are based on the scores obtained by students in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET UG).
