According to NEP 2020 guidelines, students who take up this program will receive a BCA (Honours/Research) degree upon the completion of four years of study. The course focuses on academic rigor and practicality by means of real-world projects, workshops, and industry exposure to prepare students to handle emerging digital threats and cyber security BCA careers.

Specialisations
Students pursuing the BCA programme at MRIIRS can opt for the following specialisations by acquiring an additional 15–18 credits in the selected field:
Pass in 10+2 examination or an equivalent examination with at least 50% marks in aggregate in 5 subjects, including English as a compulsory subject along with four subjects with the highest score from the remaining.
This applies to all applicants seeking admission into specialised programmes like bca cyber security, bca in cyber security, or bca with cyber security.
Criteria for Preparation of Merit List:
Merit preparation or shortlisting of candidates shall be based on the score in MRNAT or marks in the qualifying examination.
Admission Criteria:
To be eligible for the bca cyber security course, candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate across 5 subjects, including English.
