The School of Engineering and Technology, University of Technology, Jaipur, is one of the new universities established in 2010 in Jaipur, Rajasthan. This institute has been approved by AICTE and provides a wide spectrum of engineering and management courses. The school is staffed with 100 members of faculty across 8 courses and 4 degree programmes. They are preparing students in diverse areas such as civil engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical and computer engineering, and business management. Located on Fatehpura Road in Vatika, the college is a centre of technical education in the area.
School of Engineering and Technology is affiliated with University of Technology, Jaipur. School of Engineering and Technology has in total 8 courses on offer, of which full-time B.Tech programmes are offered in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and computer science and engineering. It also offer Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, MBA, and B.Tech and MBA Integrated. The new B.Tech programmes of the college have a total intake capacity of 360 for Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering streams and 90 for the Computer Science and Engineering stream. The MBA programme takes 120 students, while the diploma programmes in mechanical and electrical engineering take 60 students each. These diverse programmes allow one to pursue a number of careers in the fields of engineering and management.
In order to be as comprehensive as possible, admission at the School of Engineering and Technology is described in a simple and easy way to follow. For admission into an MBA, the candidate may be required to write a management entrance test as part of their application. The institute is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, or AICTE, which means that the courses provided at the institute come with full compliance with set levels of quality in technical education in the country.
