MMT Hospital, Idukki, a standalone School of Nursing was established in the year 2001 at Mundakayam East, Idukki, Kerala. This is a co-educational school that is recognised by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) so as to offer quality nursing education. The school is located on 12 acre land and though the school  offers limited number of degree  programme which is only in nursing. The institute has 65 students and is managed by 9 qualified staff members. The School of Nursing MMT Hospital is aimed at offering all round nursing education to such students to allow them to handle the growing challenge of the health sector.

 School of Nursing has a number of facilities to support and facilitate learning and development of the students of the institute. The library plays the role of an information house that stocks and disseminates a variety of information crucial for scholarly activities. Laboratories are well equipped to fulfill the practical need of nursing and the environment is favourable for the reasons that follow. It also guarantees the college’s technological infrastructure enables students to remain relevant to technological innovative healthcare. This is a three years diploma course which aims at producing comprehensive nursing educations to the students. For this programme, the approved intake is 36 signifying the institutes intention to continue ensuring a healthy student faculty ratio in order to facilitate quality delivery of education to students.
