SGRG Shinde Mahavidyalaya, Paranda is one of the thousands of affiliated colleges affiliated to the Osmanabad college in the state of Maharashtra. It is indeed a 30-year-old institution that has been producing innovative minds in the higher education sector. SGRG Shinde Mahavidyalaya offers a total enrolment of 656 students and has a faculty strength of 21 for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes through various disciplines.  

SGRG Shinde Mahavidyalaya, an affiliated College of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad, boasts of having well-rounded facilities that give an overall feel to the learning experience. At present, four science laboratories have been developed on the campus for Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology with LAN and internet facilities. Female students can stay in the on-campus girls' hostel and have comfortable stay with solar-powered water heating. SGRG Shinde Mahavidyalaya offers 6 courses under 5 degree programmes. These comprise undergraduate full-time programmes such as BA, B.Com, B.Sc, B.Voc in Broadcasting and Journalism, and B.Voc in Professional Accounting and Taxation. The college also offers scope for postgraduate studies since it conducts M.Sc in Botany. All these programmes are designed to last 2-3 years according to the course structure. The total student intake stands at 656 students to provide individual attention and quality education to the students.
