SGTB College of Education started its journey in 2006 in a co-educational institution at Seh Ke, Malerkotla, Punjab. This affiliated college is also recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), which makes the college to offer quality education in teaching. Spread across a 5-acre campus, SGTB College of Education offers two full-time courses: B.Ed and MA Education. At the college, there is 190 total students intake allowing the faculty of 8 to create an appropriate highly concentrated atmosphere for prospective teachers.
