Shaheen Degree College for Women, Bidar, was established in the year 2011 and stands as the premier women’s college in Karnataka. This affiliated college is situated in Shaheen Nagar, Shahpurgate, and focuses on the educational growth of female students. The current enrolment of the students is 121, and the faculty members are 2,3, making the environment of learning closely knitted. 

Shaheen Degree College for Women in Bidar is affiliated with Karnataka State Akkamahadevi Women's University, Vijayapura. Established in 2011, it offers undergraduate programmes such as B.A. and B.Sc. Shaheen Degree College for Women has put in place various amenities that are meant to complement the learning of its learners. The library is well equipped with 15000 books to cater study materials and reference books requirements of the students. For academic purposes, there is a fully air-conditioned auditorium for seminars and other academic activities, which has a seating capacity of one hundred and fifty. The college also provides air-conditioned day-cum-residential accommodation with a mess facility so that the students can feel homely.
