Shankarrao Dhawad Polytechnic, Nagpur, Maharashtra, was established in 1994. This affiliated college is on a small compact area of 1.5 acres of land and has a enrolment of students of 64, with a faculty strength of 4. The polytechnic provides a close teaching-learning environment and offers diploma programs in Engineering disciplines. There are three full-time diploma courses in Electrical Engg., Mechanical Engg., and Computer Technology. 

The polytechnic provides many facilities for the growth of its students in their academics and personal life. Shankarrao Dhawad Polytechnic has a focused curriculum with three full-time diploma programs. The courses run for three years for the different branches of Engineering viz.
