Shanmuganathan Engineering College (SEC), was set up in the year 2001, is an engineering college in the village of Thirumayam in the district of Sivagangai, Tamil Nadu. Bachelor and Master in engineering is available at SEC The facility of the college consists of an area of 25 acres and it is NAAC accredited.
SEC also has a total student enrolment of 567 and faculty of 55 which makes a good technical education environment is provided to all students. The undergraduate programmes consist of B.E. Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Artificial intelligence and Machine learning, Cyber security.

The college has the state of the art infrastructure be it in my Mechanical Engineering Laboratory or my fellow departments has the state of the art laboratories. The college has the best ventilated classrooms which can accommodate at 60 students spaciously.n
