Shanti Shiksha Niketan Mahila Mahavidyalaya is a women's higher education-oriented college. The foundation stone of the college was laid in 2012. An affiliated college, the institute has been imparting education to students for over a decade now. The college is situated right in the heart of Varanasi at Sindhora Bazar and has a compact campus of 1.35 acres. With an enrolment of 416 students and a faculty strength of 10, the institute supports an intimate learning environment.

Shanti Shiksha Niketan Mahila Mahavidyalaya currently offers only one-degree programme , which it derives from its aim for focused education. An effort is made by the college properly to enrich the learning process by providing students with many facilities. It was approved with an intake capacity of 420 seats as a testament to the potential capacity of the college to accept a high number of students hoping for tertiary education.
