Sharda College of Pharmacy Meerut is a young institution, founded in 2017, that focuses on education in the field of pharmaceuticals. Established in Vill-Shoulda, Garh Road, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, this affiliated college has come a long way to carving a niche for itself in pharmacy education. The PCI and AICTE are responsible for accreditation of institutes in India, and the present institute follows their guidelines as well. Spread across a compact 3-acre campus, Sharda College of Pharmacy offers two full-time programmes: B.Pharma and D.Pharma, serving the requirements of learner pharmacists at different levels. 

Sharda College of Pharmacy, Meerut is affiliated with the university Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow. There are a number of existing infrastructures in the Sharda College of Pharmacy intended to improve the learning environment of the students. A richly resourced library is available to support the learning needs of each student and to supply a wealth of the pharmaceutical literature and research literature. The institution boasts of departmental laboratories in each department, which are very important in the education of pharmacy students. Realising the critical role of information technology in the current dispensation of academic excellence, Sharda College of Pharmacy has put in place quality IT facilities like internet services through Wi-Fi throughout the institution’s compound. These functional units comprise academic objectives and research initiatives, respectively. However, for the students with special needs, the college has set up a separate hostel for both boys and girls that offers a comfortable environment that is appropriate for studies. 

Sharda College of Pharmacy offers two courses in the field of pharmacy. The B.Pharma is a four-year full-time programme for 100 students and the D.Pharma is a two-year full-time programme for 60 students. These programmes are set to give an overall understanding and skills required in the pharmaceutical industry for a successful career. These two core programmes focus of the college enable specialised attention to the quality of the education in pharmacy.
