Sharda Mahavidyalaya Arts and Science for Boys and Girls Parbhani was started in the year 1998 The college is situated near Civil Hospital, Subhash Road, Parbhani, Maharashtra state. This affiliated college, which is recognised and accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), provides a wide and comprehensive choice of undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Located in a total land area of 0.9846 acres, the institute now has 923 students and faculty with 29 effective teachers. A total of 6 courses in 5 degrees offered by Sharda Mahavidyalaya offer specialisations in art, science, Commerce, and computer applications. 

Sharda Mahavidyalaya Arts and Science for Boys and Girls has the vision of creating a favourable learning environment to enhance students learning environment through effective facilities. This is a special unit of the college, which provides knowledge through a stock of text and reference books, research journals, and other materials required for education, research, and extension services. However, to facilitate learning through practicals, the colleges provide students with department-based laboratories. This institution also values technology and ensures that all the IT's—computers, printers, scanners, among others—are well equipped with updated technological software as a way of preparing students with current technological knowledge. 

The college currently teaches 6 full-time courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Among the undergraduate courses offered are BA, B.Sc., B.Com., and BCA, where the first three take 120 students while BCA takes 80. At master level, the college offers master courses in Urdu and psychology with a seating capacity of 60 each. All courses are intended to be completed fully in three years for undergraduate courses as well as two years for postgraduate courses.

Sharda Mahavidyalaya Arts and Science, Parbhani, has admission criteria based on merit for all courses it offers for the students. Students wishing to join the university must have performed well in the qualifying examinations as a measure of their suitability.
