The Shekhawati Engineering College, Jhunjhunu (SEC) is an emerging constellation that was started in the year 2003. This affiliated college is situated in Dundlod, Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan and covers a total of 7 and half acre of land. The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has approved SEC to establish quality education in the engineering discipline. The faculty of this institute comprising 71 members offers 6 course spread across two degree programs. Like its various specialisation fields, SEC offers Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical, Civil and Mechanical for students who have interest in the said fields.

This college has a mission to offer quality education in conducive environment supported by well-equipped facilities. This learning institution, through its arm, has a rich library in which many more than thirty thousand books are housed and available to students to access an array of technological and research knowledge. The campus also has well-equipped ultra modern laboratories that enhance practical learning with appropriate intest technologies. As a whole Shekhawati Engineering College currently conducts 6 courses full time B.Tech having 5 branches and full time MBA having 1 branch. The B.Tech programs cover all the major engineering branches to which are complemented by the MBA program for management professionals. 

The admission in Shekhawati Engineering College is mostly based on scores received in RPET (Rajasthan Pre-Engineering Test) and JEE Main. The college follows a structured admission system with three categories: RPET covers 70% of seats, JEE Main 15% of seats, and the rest are management seats. This diverse admission process provides level playing ground to student from a different background. JEE Main is another examination accepted by the institute for offering B.Tech programme admission to its students.
