Sheth P.T. Mahila College of Arts and Home Science, Surat, was founded in 1972. This affiliated college is accredited by NAAC and imparts various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the fields of arts and home science. Located on a vast campus of 27 acres, the college has a student enrolment of 1,308 students, all of whom are female and a faculty strength of 11. 

The compact and well-equipped facilities are some of the cardinal features characterizing this institution to enhance the learning process of the student community. It has an approximate collection of 10,000 books. The library serves as the knowledge center for all streams and subjects. It also offers BA courses in English, Gujarati, and Hindi, along with numerous other specialized courses like B.Sc in Hospitality Management and BA in Psychology (Self-Finance). Other than these, some new Bachelor of Vocation (B.Voc) courses the entity has started are Fashion Designing, Interior Design, Event Management, and Early Childhood Care and Education. The college offers a Postgraduate Diploma in Dietetics for those searching for postgraduate courses.
