Shivalik College of Education, Ambala was started in 1998 located at Village Aliyaspur, Sadhaura, Jagdhauli-Dosarka Road, Ambala, Haryana. This is a co-educational college that occupies 1 acre with a total student enrolment of 177 and a faculty strength of 22 members. This is an affiliated institution with the approval from NCTE. 

The institution has many facilities to enhance the learning experience of the students. There is a fully equipped library comprising more than 50,000 books pertaining to different disciplines of science, engineering, and technology; bound volumes of periodicals are also available. The gymnasium is also fully furnished with the latest modern workout machines and free weights, even a boxing kit to keep oneself physically fit. A well-qualified paediatrician is always present in the medical room on campus for assistance to the children regarding their health-related problems, and sometimes, medical camps are organised for creating health awareness.
