Shivam Pharmaceutical Studies and Research Centre, Anand was established in the year 2009 and is one of the premier institutes offering pharmaceutical education not only in Gujarat but in India as a whole. The affiliated college is compactly spread over 2.67 acres of land in Valasan, Anand, and has been molding the future of pharmacy professionals for more than a decade. This institute is approved by the Pharmacy Council of India and offers various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in pharmacy. The student enrolment in total is 117, and the faculty strength is 20.

The facilities at Shivam Pharmaceutical Studies and Research Centre are modern and cater to the increasing needs of all students at the institute. The library is well-stocked with more than 2,500 volumes of carefully selected books and subscribed to about 70 national and international periodicals, along with access to 148 e-journals, to aid students in their academic pursuits. State-of-the-art laboratories are the evidences of commitment towards practical learning. There exist specialised laboratories in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Analysis, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacognosy, Pharmacology, and Pharmaceutical Microbiology & Biotechnology. Hands-on experiences are provided in all these laboratories, which is very much essential in their future endeavors in the pharmaceutical industry.
