M.Com at Shree Atam Vallabh Jain College, Ludhiana Offline Course

1. The minimum qualification for admission to the First Semester of the course shall be: 

• B.Com./B.B.B./B.Com. (Hons.) with notless than 45% marks in the aggregate

                 OR

• Agraduate with honours in Economics or Mathematics or Statistics or Commercewith not less than 45% marks in the aggregate. 

2. Acandidate appeared under semester system for under graduate courses is allowedto take admission under semester system in Post graduate courses, in case oftwo re-appears in 1st to 6th semester. 

3. The Second Semester examination will be open to a regular student who 

• has been on the rolls of college during previous semester
• has attended not less than 75% lectures,case discussions, field trips, project work, etc. for each paper.

4. The minimum marks to pass the examination in each semester shall be 

• 35% in each paper in the examination separately as well as jointly with internal assessment.
• 35% in Seminar, Project and Viva-Voce.
• 50% in the aggregate of (i) and (ii)above.
