Affiliated college Shree Gokarnanatheshwara College Mangalore was established in the year 1982 and situated in Mangalagangothri one of the bubbly city of Dakshina Kannada District of Karnataka. Situated in 1.31 Acres campus area this institution has been producing fresh talents for more than forty years. It is affiliated to the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). At present, it has 295 students coupled with 39 teachers in the college that provide a small-scale environment of learning to students across 7 courses in five degree programmes in disciplines like Commerce, and Management and Education, etc.

Shree Gokarnanatheshwara College possesses number of beneficial extra facilities that are helpful for improving the general educational process. A rather well stocked library boast of a collection, of over twenty four thousand volumes, within reach of the students. It also equipped modern laboratory such as science laboratory, psychology laboratory and language laboratory for practical activities and research. For those, who prefer sports and physical trainings, there is a gym on the territory of the university. The college auditorium provides accommodation for any general events and seminars that create awareness of cultural and academic disciplines. This college provides 3  courses for the convenience of its students based on their preferences. It offers BA , M.Com and B.Com.  There are 295 students in total in college, which suggest that the college/playing focused education master with a controlled number of students in a class.
