Shree Macchi Mahajan Education Societys College of Education, Nani Daman Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has hostel-like facilities owned and managed by the management. Since the college is situated in the Union Territory, it is mandatory for the college that 50% of the total students must be admitted from Daman only. Thus these students do not require hostel accommodation. The remaining 50% of our students are from Gujarat State from about 5 to 15km radius around Daman. Hence they daily commute from their home town only. The majority of the admissions are female students. These female students never opt for hostel accommodation but always wish to commute from their hometown due to house responsibilities and their husbands-kids. The college has hostel-like facilities in the flats on the campus owned and Managed by the management. The college has a total of 06 rooms where and 03 separate rooms for girls where 10 girls are given modest residential facilities. Such hostel rooms are fully equipped with continuous electricity & water supply and are well ventilated. They are provided with reading facilities and medical assistance in their doorsteps. Since Daman is a tourist place there are plenty of eating houses and hotels for good food.
