Located in Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh, Shri Baijnath Shiv Kala Mahavidyalaya has been in service of moulding young minds since 2004. This affiliated college has a campus on 7.5 acres of land and has been approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) in its endeavour to obtain quality standards in teaching in the field of education. It has 2,014 students with 3 full-time faculty members and a varied list of course offerings, which form a total of 5 different degree programmes.

The main full-time courses offered by the college include Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.), Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma), Master of Arts (MA), and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed).

Admission at Shri Baijnath Shiv Kala Mahavidyalaya is done in all the courses. B.Ed Admissions are made on a merit basis based on marks scored in the qualifying examination and in the entrance examination. It is a selection procedure adhering to norms as announced by the State Government/Union Territory Administration and the university for admission to a D.El.Ed. programme based on merit in the qualifying examination and entrance examination marks under the State Government/UT Administration.
