Degree-wise Admission Process
B.A.: For the granted course, the college has an intake capacity of 360 seats and for the non-granted course, contingent entry is 240 seats. The merit principle has been followed for admission by considering the marks obtained in the 10+2 examination.
B.Sc.: The B.Sc. program admits 240 seats. The candidates should have completed the 10+2 with science subjects. The admission is based on the merit list.
B.Com.: Offering 120 seats, the B.Com program is only admissible by performance in the 10+2 examinations with emphasis on commerce-related subjects.
B.Sc. Computer Science: This program has a capacity of 60 seats and adopts a merit-based approach of selection for those who have completed their 10+2 with science and mathematics.
M.A.: M.A programs are available for different subjects such as Marathi, Hindi, English, Sociology, Political Science, History, Geography. There are 60 seats for each program admitted on marks obtained in the relevant bachelor's degree.
M.Sc.: M.Sc. programs are available in Physics and Chemistry with 30 seats each. Entrance is awarded based on merit in science qualifications.
M.Com.: The total number of seats in the M.Com. program is 60, and admission of students to the program will be required to be performed strictly according to merit based on B.Com. or equivalent degree.
Ph.D.: A doctoral program is offered in diverse subjects that includes Chemistry (42 seats), Physics (24 seats), Zoology (14 seats), Commerce (22 seats), Botany (8 seats), Computer Science (4 seats), English (8 seats), Hindi (4 seats), Marathi (8 seats), Geography (12 seats), History (8 seats), Political Science (12 seats) and Sociology (6 seats). Admission in Ph.D. programs will purely be based on the performance made in NET/SET/PET examinations.
The college lectures is poor . Wifi is not installed in this college. It also does not provide hostel facilities. Water filters are also not available . Benches are also not in good condition. But the college does have a laboratory.
