Shri Chhatrapati Shivajiraje College of Engineering was established in the year 2009 and is amongst one of the topmost colleges in Pune, Maharashtra. The campus is based on a land area of 23 acres. It is an affiliated college, accredited by NAAC, and approved by AICTE. SCSCOE offers a wide range of 9 courses under 2 degree programs, with a total enrolment of students amounting to 693. At the same time, the faculty strength is 105 dedicated professionals; hence, the student-faculty ratio is ever-maintained to assure personalized attention and quality education.

This college has been at the forefront of great quality education and offers many state-of-the-art facilities that have been created to enhance the learning experience and all-round development of its students. The well-equipped library will provide the knowledge centre for teaching, research, and academic activities. State-of-the-art laboratories are made available in different departments with a view to serve the students with hands-on experience that is quite essential in the course of engineering education. Separate hostel facilities for boys and girls with spacious, well-furnished rooms with attached bathrooms are available. The campus facility was added to with a multi-cuisine canteen that serves hygienic and delicious food, monitored by senior lecturers. Indoor and outdoor sports facilities in the college provide volleyball, cricket, kabaddi, chess, carrom, and table tennis for the interest of the lovers of sports. Training is provided to the students to take part in various tournaments right from college to national levels.

SCSCOE offers all engineering courses, both BE and Diploma courses. While the BE courses run for four years, the various streams are in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Civil Engineering-with the recently added stream of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. Students who would like to pursue shorter courses shall have an option for college three-year Diploma courses in Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. All courses are full-time and provide in-depth knowledge and professional skills to the students in their respective fields.

SCSCOE admits candidates to various programs on the basis of merit. In this respect, all state government policies and guidelines are followed by SCSCOE. Admission to BE primarily is decided based on the performance in two major national-level entrance examinations: JEE. The test covers various subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics; thus, the admission to the college is occupied by the deserving students. Admission to this institution is based on the highly transparent mode of Entrance Exam scores, academic performance at 10+2, and reservation policies if any.
