Established in 1998, Shri Farooq Hussain PG College is an affiliated constituent college based in Nidhauli Kalan, Etah, Uttar Pradesh. The campus spreads over 5 acres and offers 8 different courses across 4 different degrees. It offers courses in association with the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and caters to 342 students under the guidance of a faculty comprised of 17 members. The institution offers various courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in education, arts, and humanities faculties.

The college offers a range of facilities to supplement one's entire student experience. The college centrally houses a library stocked well with over 15,000 books on various subjects in and around the campus, with a reading space for more than 100 students at a time. Shri Farooq Hussain PG College offers a total of 8 courses, which are undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The college offers courses in arts, education, and teacher training. College provides full-time courses in Bachelor of Arts (BA) and many programmes under the title of Master of Arts (MA) programmes, some being in English, Hindi, Sociology, Geography, and Education. He also referred to the professional courses, namely B.Ed and D.El.Ed, with the former having an intake sitting of 120 seats that have an approval along with 50 seats in the D.El.Ed programme.

Admission process varies on the basis of courses in Shri Farooq Hussain PG College. Admissions in B.Ed and D.El.Ed are based upon merit and marks obtained in the qualifying exam and/or entrance exam. The college maintains certain other processes for selection as well, depending upon the policy of the State Government, U.T. Administration, and the affiliated university.
