Shri Ganpati Institute of D Pharmacy, Akole, was set up in 2019 to offered pharmacy education in the region of Maharashtra, India. Tembhurni tehsil Madha, Solapur district is the affiliated college and boasting a new comers to the world of pharmacy education. Offering a specialised syllabi in pharmaceutical studies, the institute was established and recognised by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). Established on a 1.25 hectare plot of land, the college is home to sixty students. Shri Ganpati Institute of D Pharmacy preserves the proper formal and personal ratio of students and faculties in maintaining an appropriate education standard with a student to faculty ratio of 15:1 with 4 faculty members in this college. It offers only one course at present, the D.Pharma (Diploma in Pharmacy). 

Shri Ganpati Institute of D Pharmacy, Akole is affiliated with the college Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education, Mumbai. Shri Ganpati Institute of D Pharmacy has a variety of service areas dedicated to the improvement of the students’ learning environment. The college library is used in disseminating knowledge, important pharmaceutical literature and other research information to students. Sophisticated instrumentation laboratory provides practical sessions fundamental in enhancing practical skills in the field of pharmacy. The institute offers sports facilities and gym as part of enhancing our development in other physical activities other than studying. As a result of the growing needs of education, the institute has equipped itself with sophisticated IT equipments to prepare the students with current development in the Information Technology in the field of pharmacy. 

At present, only one full time course, D.Pharma is run at Shri Ganpati Institute of D.Pharmacy, Akole. This programme being a two-year diploma course seek at offering students a strong background in pharmaceutical sciences. This course offers an intake of 60 students in an attempt to support a good student to faculty ratio to facilitate proper student follow-up. Such a focus is possible, thanks to the concentration of efforts and resources that the institute devotes to the provision of quality education in the field of pharmacy to produce students fit for making it in the industry or for further academic endeavor in the same area. Therefore, the basic requirement is to have good grades in the science subjects at the 10+2 levels.
