Shri Guru Hargobind Sahib Government Polytechnic College, Ranwan was set up in 2012 at Ranwan, Vill & Teshil Fatehgarh Sahib District Punjab as an affiliated polytechnic college. This AICTE approved government institution occupies a 4 acres area at the Chandigarh-Ludhiana Highway. Currently the college has two diploma programmes with a student capacity of 177 and staffed by the College’s 22 member faculty. This institute offers undergraduate courses in Mechanical Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering with an objective of offering technical education to engineering students.
It has all over the college, many facilities aimed at improving students’ learning abilities and general development. A modern library is another important facility of the school, as well as numerous, technically equipped laboratories to meet practical classes requirements. Organised campus life is provided by such facility as an auditorium for events and seminars contributing to the active studying process.
