Shri Guru Harikishan College of Education, Ratlam was set up in 2012 having the vision to provide education for both boys and girls and for preparing the future teachers. This affiliated college is situated at Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh and is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education-NCTE. Pune located institute has a small campus area of 0.98842 acres and provides two courses related to education with a total intake of 198 students. It has a balanced ration of students to teacher and currently, the college employs 16 faculty members. Shri Guru Harikishan College Of Education is determined to offering quality education in teaching niche with focusing B.ED and D.EL.ED courses to the academic calistrians.

Shri Guru Harikishan College of Educatione college has many of the amenities the new generation expects. Shri Guru Harikishan College of Education offers two full-time courses: Minimum academic qualification of a teacher in primary education will be a Bachelors degree in education (B.Ed) and a Diploma in elementary education (D.El.Ed). Presently at the B.Ed programme has an intake capacity of 100 students and D.El.Ed Programme has an intake capacity of 50 students. Each of the two courses takes two years to complete and their objectives are to produce competent teachers who will excel in their profession. It is on account of these specialised education programmes that the college seeks to train effective educators for the primary and secondary school systems.

The admission criteria at Shri Guru Harikishan College of Education includes marks scored at the time of passing the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The admissions to the B. Ed programme are made as per the policy formulated and declared by the state government, UT administration and the affiliated university. Same is the process of the D.El.Ed programme which procedure is strictly in compliance with the requirements set by the state government or UT administration.
