Shri Krishnaswamy College for Women is an affiliated college, which was started in the year 2010 and is  located in Anna Nagar, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Begun in 1961, it is located across a 1.14 acre campus, it aims to offer right education for women only. Approved by the National Assessment and accreditation Council, this college is providing 18 courses in 8 degree programmes. Overall enrolment and number of a faculty are 2,968 and 135, respectively, and hence a favorable students’ teacher ratio is observed. The student population is made of 94% undergraduate and 6% postgraduate all of the students are female due to college’s emphasis on education of women.

Shri Krishnaswamy College for Women has availed almost all the structures as seen necessary to support its academic activities. A part of learning resource centre, the library supports 6,820 document type books, journals, newspapers, magazines and audio-visual aids. It is completely automated through the use of KOHA software to manage required resources and includes free internet for the staff and students. The campus has well equipped computerised labs which include the latest software and internet facilities. In regards to the health of the body, the college has facilities for sporting activities such as volleyball, throw ball and table tennis. The ‘Krissh’ auditorium, with a seating capacity of 1000 and a totally air-conditioned facility, is used for seminars, conferences, cultural programming, etc.

Shri Krishnaswamy College for Women provides a range of curricula that appease different passions. The institution has developed 18 courses in its learning portfolio, and it has both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The undergraduate programmes available include Computer Science, Commerce, Business Administration, and Arts, while the post graduate programmes include M.Sc Computer Science, MA Human Resource Management and M.Com. All courses are offered full-time hence provide efficient and compact training to the students.
