The college was established in 2009. SLTIET Rajkot is approved by AICTE and is affiliated with Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad. The college offers diplomas, and UG courses in multiple specialisations. SLTIET Rajkot UG courses include B.E/B.Tech. SLTIET Rajkot UG admissions are based on GUJCET exam scores. SLTIET Rajkot diploma admissions are based on class 10 exam scores.
