Shri Pillappa College of Engineering (SPCE), Bangalore, was founded in the year 2012 and is a premier engineering college in Karnataka. Located at an area of 18 acres of land, SPCE is streaming various engineering courses to the interested candidates. It is an affiliated institution hence legally drawn under the umbrella of a university system and therefore can guarantee quality education and standard compliance. The college is located in Kondasethi, Halli Road, Hesaraghatta Hobli, Bangalore Taluk and its location is suitable for learning with adequate physical environment for students growth.

At present, Shri Pillappa College of Engineering provides four full time BE courses to fulfill the demand of different fields of engineering. These include BE in Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, and Civil Engineering. Every programme is laid out as a four-year curriculum so as to offer students as comprehensive training as possible within their fields of concentration. A total of 240 students have been approved to be admitted into these programmes at the college and for Computer Science and Engineering programme, the college has a provision of 120 students while for Electronics and Communication Engineering and Civil Engineering programmes, the college has a provision of 60 students each.

Admission policy in Shri Pillappa College of Engineering is properly planned to make it systematic and fairly. The college accepts scores from two major entrance examinations: the Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka Under Graduate Entrance Test (COMEDK UGET) and the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET). These examinations act as doors through which the aspiring students can get the chance they need to join the courses they have always dreamt of studying in the faculty of engineering.
