Shri Ramdas Mahavidyalaya, was established in 2003 and is situated in Dullahpur, Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh. This institute is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education ( NCTE) and is a premier institute specialised in the teacher education. This college has total enrolment of 689 students along with total faculty strength of 2 they assure a well personalised educational experience. The institute provides two courses for the teacher education seekers at different level. 

Shri Ramdas Mahavidyalaya possesses various facilities accorded to promote the learning process and developmental aspects of learners. This facility enhances the intellectual centre of our institution through provision of adequate resources for learning. For those interested in body build up and exercise, the college has put in place facilities for sports and gym. It also boasts of an auditorium for educational programmes, seminars and other educational activities. On this account, the college has provided the departmental laboratories for the practical learning of the students. The institution is well equipped for modem educational needs through efficient information technology. In order to provide the conveniences of students and guests, the campus facility is provided with cafeteria and guest house. Medical problems are solved with the help of a first aid kit provided here in the school. 

Shri Ramdas Mahavidyalaya, an affiliated College of Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University, Jaunpur, has a defined core curriculum because the main courses it offers focus on two Courses. The B.Ed course is a two-year full course for preparing students as career teachers at the secondary level. The D.El.Ed or Diploma in Elementary Education is another two years full time programme which is started for those who want to teach at elementary level. This programme has an approved intake of fifty (50) students to allow emphasis on individual attention and quality education. Almost all of the courses are designed in such a way to offer general and sufficient theoretical background and practical teaching skills meeting modern educational requirements and tendencies.

Shri Ramdas Mahavidyalaya has the rule of admitting students through merit only though it does have the basic eligibility criteria of the student to have passed the specific standard to qualify for the examination. Also, the college may also undertake written or practical examinations in entry or implement any other modalities as may be set by the Uttar Pradesh government and the affiliated university. Commonly used criteria for the B.Ed programme includes screening of documents and certificates and the scores obtained by the candidate in the entrance examination. Likewise, the admission for the D.El.Ed programme is merit-based and the percentage marking in the qualifying examination along with any entrance test that is prescribed.
