Shri Shivaji Maratha Society’s College of Architecture, Pune (SSMSCOA) started its functioning in 2016 focusing on architectural education. This affiliated college is in the city of Pune in the state of Maharashtra and has emerged fast and significantly as the most promising college in architecture. Recognised by the Council of Architecture, this institution gives only one degree course, which is Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch), and a total intake of students is one hundred and ten. The college occupies an area of 2 acres; however, this allows the college to offer an intimate space for learning for students who will become architects. The Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) is the first and the flagship programme of SSMSCOA which is a full-time five-year course. This comprehensive programme is aimed at developing the creative and technical potential of the students, as well as equipping them with the knowledge required for successful professional activity in the rapidly progressing sphere of architecture. The college enrols 40 students each year in this programme in order to afford students and faculty members close contact.
