Women's Science College at Paniv Malshiras Solapur District, Maharashtra, was established in 2014 as Shriram Women’s Science College inside Shriram Institute Premises. Being a fairly new college, it has quickly risen through the ranks to become a well-known college dedicated to science education at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The college is located on a small plot of 5 acres of land; at the present moment, it is hosting 311 college students, all of them women. The college’s principle aims to empower women through education. The focus of the college is to provide quality education with a limited number of faculty members, which is only 8. There are 3 courses in the institution, falling under two degree programmes offered by the institution, all in the areas of pure and applied science.

Women's Science College owns a range of facilities that have been established and are developing to complement the learning process and personal growth of the students. First and foremost, there is a counselling office with a library, full of the necessary handbooks, textbooks, manuals, and the collection of MPSC materials. In all the science departments, there are well-equipped laboratory facilities, and this gives the students a touch of what they need for their scientific experiences. For physical fitness and recreation, the college has a 400-meter synthetic running track other than playing facilities for both indoor and outdoor games. There is also a gymnasium if students have it in mind to form their own body and be physically fit. The college has a health centre that is involved in first aid in order to ensure the students health is being cared for. For a colourful campus life, there is an event and seminar venue, which is the auditorium, and a cafeteria section for students and teaching staff. Significantly, out-station students are availed of quality residential accommodation in terms of a girls’ hostel, which is safe and comfortable within the college complex.

Education-wise, Shriram Women’s Science College offers a limited range of courses, all of which are in the science stream. The college offers three full-time programmes, of which two at the undergraduate level and one at the postgraduate level. Out of these, the B.Sc. programme, which is the base of the college, has a total of 120 intake capacity. This is underpinned by a unique and accredited B.Sc. in Mathematics, Physics, and Statistics for the students who have disposition in these core science disciplines. In the postgraduate level, the college offers an M.Sc. in Analytical Chemistry with 60 seats, providing specialisations at an advanced level. The overall student enrolment among the different courses offered in the college is 311, which shows full enrolment of the college and is highly patronised by young female science students within the region. 

Shriram Women’s Science College has a very decentralised admissions process and is as follows: so it is the norm for science colleges to factor the student’s performance in 10+2 or an equivalent examination with an emphasis on the science streams.
