SIMET College of Nursing, Muttathara, started in 2015, recognised nursing education college situated in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. This college for boys and girls admits students in various courses of nursing and is recognised by the Indian Nursing Council (INC). Having a total of 20 teaching personnel, SIMET College of Nursing is designed to facilitate student growth and foster their professional growth and training as nurse.

SIMET College of Nursing has numerous current amenities that strive to complement the education of the students in the college. A well equipped library plays an essential role of a knowledge centre it has a wide range of nursing literature and research documents. Practical laboratory facilities enable the students to access real-life practical experience to facilitate their general clinical practice. The college also has a hall for academic activities such as seminars and other academic related issue concerning growth of the college and its students. For the convenience of female students, there exists a girls’ hostel so that they are comfortably went to join the course without any so-called ‘No-Peps Boys’ ’. The campus is also well-facelitated with all information technology equipment a student or lecturer requires in the current world hence aiding in proper technological equipment for the current world’s nursing education.

SIMET College of Nursing, an affiliated College of Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur, offers two comprehensive nursing programmes: A four year B.Sc Nursing for the entry level and a 2 year B.Sc Nursing for post basic level. Both are full-time on-campus courses which are specifically aimed at offering students the nursing theory as well as the practical coverage.
