Sir Bhavsinhji Polytechnic Institute Bhavnagar (SBPI Bhavnagar) was established in 1949 by the Late Maharaja Saheb Sir Krishnakumarsinhji. Sir Bhavsinhji Polytechnic Institute is functioning under the Directorate of Technical Education, (DTE Gujarat) and is affiliated to Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad. Sir Bhavsinhji Polytechnic is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
