Sir Madanlal Institute of Pharmacy, Etawah: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Sir Madanlal Institute of Pharmacy, Etawah is a self-funded college affiliated with Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University Lucknow and was established in 2006. Sir Madan Lal Group Of Institutions is this college's parent body. All the courses provided at SMIP College are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). SMIP courses include diploma, bachelor’s, and master’s in pharmacy and are affiliated with the Directorate of Technical Education and Pharmacy Council of India. Candidates need to appear for the SMIP entrance examinations at each level to gain admission. 

A qualifying entrance test conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Board of Technical Education will be the base for a diploma-level course. For a bachelor’s in pharmacy, candidates need to appear for the UPSEE exam. SMIP admission to master’s will be based on the marks obtained in the entrance examination conducted by the university. Candidates also need to keep the SMIP eligibility criteria in mind otherwise their application will not be considered. In order to provide candidates with job assistance, the SMIP placement cell organises various placement drives every academic year. Hostels, a library, pharmaceutical laboratories, transportation, and medical are some of the SMIP facilities offered to students on campus.

Sir Madanlal Institute of Pharmacy is located in the Etawah district (also called Ishtikapuri) of Uttar Pradesh. The district headquarters is just 6 km from the campus which makes it easy for candidates to reach college by bus or train. The Etawah railway station is nearest to the SMIP campus at a distance of 5 km. Gwalior airport is 115 km from the college and is the closest one.
