Sir P.T. Science College, Modasa is a well-known institution in the Aravalli District of Gujarat, established in 1960. The co-educational affiliated college is spread over an area of 18.3 acres and offers quite a variety of science programs. It has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council and was able to make its presence felt in the sphere of higher education. The college offers 12 courses in 4 different degree programs with specializations in fields of science such as Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Botany, and Microbiology, among others, with a total student enrolment of 812 and a faculty strength of 23. It provides an environment that proves conducive to the growth of the involved students.

A well-stacked library with the latest reference books and textbooks acts as a knowledge core and is supported by audio-visual e-lecture facilities. Besides this, it has separate hostels for boys and girls that provide comfortable accommodation in an educational and eco-friendly environment.

Different higher levels of education in science are offered by Sir P.T. Science College, with a variety of courses. The college offers 12 courses that include undergraduate and postgraduate courses along with doctoral studies. The courses offered are B.Sc. majors in Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and Botany; M.Sc. in Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physics, and Botany; and Ph.D. in Chemistry and Botany on a full-time basis. The other one is B. Sc. in Microbiology under the self-finance category.
