SJES Institution of Nursing, Bengaluru, having its essential aim towards education of providing nursing profession, was founded in the year 1979, situated in Medahalli, Old Madras Road, Bengaluru, Karnataka. This is a co-ed college located in a 5-acre land and it is an affiliated college recognised by the Indian Nursing Council (INC). With a focus on providing quality nursing education, SJES Institution of Nursing offers two programmes: B.Sc Nursing, and General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) . At present, the institute has a qualified faculty of 33 experts with sufficient working experience to facilitate nursing education.

The institution boasts of well equipped infrastructure facilities that support a rich learning experience of the students. Students enjoy a fully equipped faculty library complete with nursing literature for students and staff and multi media technology. College has departmental based laboratories that with practical sessions, necessary to give important touchstone in nursing. To bridge the growing curiosity in increased development in this field, SJES Institution of Nursing has established and equipped well-equipped I.T facilities to make sure that the learners get used to other computerised health facilities and Electronic Health Records.

SJES Institution of Nursing offers two full-time nursing programmes: four years programme, B.Sc Nursing with 40 admissions and 100 level  General Nursing and Midwifery course with 50 admissions. These programmes are intended offering the candidate with a clear theoretical background as well as the practical hands on skills for a burning nursing career.
