SLN Degree College, having its origin in the year 2012, is a recognised college of Andhra Pradesh, situated in Kurnool. Located on a small piece of land of 3.16 acres, this college has gradually expanded its programmes and facilities. The college is affiliated with Rayalaseema University, Kurnool. It has a strength of 219 students and faculty members of 14 makes SLN Degree College offer its learners a personalised environment. There are seven programmes in total at the college: five in Arts, one in Commerce, and one in Science with an expanded range of opportunities offered over three-degree categories. 

The college has adopted several infrastructures that help in shaping the college to meet the needs of students in their learning process. It has information resources that can be utilised in learning activities for all courses of study in the institution. In this regard, the college offers several laboratories for practice-orientated education depending on the departments; hence, students receive both theoretical and practical experience. With an understanding of the need for physical health, the SLN Degree College provides sports facilities for all students to achieve a good balance between their studies. It also boasts an adequate internal IT support programme to equip learners for the current technological era and promote advanced forms of learning. 

The total number of programmes offered by the SLN Degree College is five, all of which are undergraduate programmes that are of the full-time duration. The course offerings span across three main streams: Arts (BA), Commerce (B.Com) and Science (B.Sc). These programmes are as follows and are aimed at addressing diverse levels of academic needs and career goals. The total of approved intake for these courses is unknown, but at the present moment the college is home to 219 students across all programmes which serves to show that the student-to-faculty ratio is ideal and therefore conducive to one-on-one teaching. The college has launched some vocational courses at the undergraduate level, such as B.Sc in Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science; B.Sc in Botany, Zoology and Chemistry; and B.Com in Computer Applications. These are development-orientated specialisation programmes that give students the chance to sharpen their speciality in their areas of majors.
