SM Degree College was founded in 2003, and is an affiliated college. It has its campus at Pali Doungra, Sonkh Road, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. It received approval from the NCTE for its undergraduate and postgraduate courses. This institution is manned by 36 passionate educators who impart quality education in five different courses.

The SM Degree College  has installed various facilities which would improve the learning process for the students. A well-stocked library will also act as a centre of knowledge. SM Degree College offers five courses in its full-time schemes, all of which are basically designed to equip students with an all-inclusive knowledge base and expertise in their respective fields. The most favourite programme is the B.A. programme, which admits 300 students. The college offers B.Ed. programme, accommodating 100 students, which serves as an ideal ground for young teachers to begin their careers as rewarding professionals. The college also runs B.Sc. and B.Com. programmes.

As for admission procedures, they differ with the programme to which admission is being made. Generally, most of the undergraduate courses admit based on merit from the qualifying examination, though the B.Ed. programme has some specific admission procedures. Admissions to B.Ed. shall be made in consonance with state government and university rules, based on all or any combination of marks in qualifying examination and performance in entrance examinations wherever applicable besides any other selection processes as mandated by the respective authorities concerned.
