SM Patel College of Home Science, Anand, was established in the year 1971 as one of the prime institutes in the domain of home science education. Being a women's college, it is located in Vallabh Vidyanagar, Gujarat, and is affiliated with Sardar Patel University. The college got accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council. This college covers 2 acres, with a focused curriculum having one degree program that specializes in home science education. Having a total enrolment of 238 students with a faculty strength of 8, the SM Patel College provides an ideal setting for learning and development of the children.

SM Patel College of Home Science provides high-quality education in home science by conducting a B.Sc Home Science full-time course. It is a three-year undergraduate course wherein students are given detailed knowledge and skills for the various streams under home science.
