    About Smt Indira Gandhi College of Engineering, Navi Mumbai

    Smt. Indira Gandhi College of Engineering was set up in the year 1993 and has been one of the known institutions for education in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra. The affiliated college is spread over 3.5 acres with an objective to offer various professional programs in the engineering sector to the aspirants. Offering a sound academic learning environment for the budding engineers, the college enlisted 1,252 students in all with a faculty strength of 24.

    Plenty of facilities back the academic endeavors of this college. The library accommodates over 4000 sq. ft area. It has stocked text books, reference books, and journals in huge numbers. A well-equipped reading hall with provision for 150 students has been provided in the library. For practical learning, SIGCE has furnished laboratories for advanced computing, multimedia, graphics, database management, software engineering and many other special fields. Other facilities in the college are meant to ensure all-round development of the students. There are sports facilities and a cafeteria and an auditorium to organise events and seminars. A health centre along with first-aid facilities on campus takes care of everyone's well-being.

    There are six Bachelor of Engineering programmes, catering to the assorted interests and tastes within the spectrum of Engineering. These include BE in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Computer Science and Engineering, Internet of Things and Cyber Security including Block Chain Technology, and Artificial Intelligence and Data Science.

    If they expanded their campus this might be a good college .

    Average infrastructure but if they had a dedicated sports room would have been better.add bit of everything can expand labs and practical rooms. 2 divisions cannot do practical at one time and maybe add some smart teaching boards

    Yes College provides all necessary things. Our college also has library sports grounds and also there are various labs for specific subject. Washrooms on each floor and also facility of drinking water. So I think our college has a great infrastructure.
