Smt. Mala Devi Memorial College for Women was started in the year 2014 in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, and it developed as a single branch college. This is a relatively young institution that was approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), and it offers teacher education programmes. Located at a 0.38-acre campus, the college has 80 students enrolled for the course and 6 members in faculty. 

Smt. Mala Devi Memorial College for Women is furnished with several facilities intended to create a pleasant learning environment for students. Libraries contain current and relevant literature, textbooks, references, and informative materials in support of the teaching-learning processes. As a reinforcement of the fact the institution is well-founded, the laboratories for physics, chemistry, biology, as well as mathematics, are well supplied and equipped to give the students practical experience in their subject area. For recreation and physical fitness, the college has provision of indoor and outdoor games. The college has a playground and a sports room provided with necessary items for games like table tennis, cricket, volleyball, etc., and playing cards and chess sets are also available in the college.

Smt. Mala Devi Memorial College has only one full-time course and it is a two-year course called D.El.Ed. The aim of this programme is to train elementary education professionals who can independently perform their academic activities as teachers. 

Smt. Mala Devi Memorial College has a cancellation and refund policy that the admission requires marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. Admission policies, therefore, have to adhere to the policies set by the state of Uttar Pradesh and the university that sponsors the college.
