One of the premier teacher training colleges, SN College of Education, started in Jagadhri in the year 2007. The co-ed, university-affiliated college applied for the necessary approval from the National Council for Teacher Education, New Delhi, to ensure quality teaching. The campus, situated on a compact area of 1.3 acres, is an ideal place for prospective educators. With 325 students on the rolls and a faculty strength of 12, SN College of Education provides an intimate academic atmosphere most conducive to individualised learning and mentorship.

Modern facilities make learning for the students a rich experience. Among these, the well-stocked library has more than 19,200 books on education and other related subjects. Apart from this, the library has two spacious reading rooms and subscribes to 42 educational journals, 16 magazines, and 12 newspapers, both in Hindi and English. For practical learning, there are well-maintained, adequately lighted, and fully equipped practical science labs for physics, chemistry, and biology. A state-of-the-art computer centre with Pentium IV processors and round-the-clock internet connectivity contributes to digital literacy in future educators. Extracurricular activities are also encouraged, and the college has sports facilities for a number of games like cricket, football, and badminton, apart from a gym for physical fitness. 

The SN College of Education only offers one major course in the form of a B.Ed., or Bachelor of Education, programme. This is a regular two-year course aimed at successful teaching careers for the students.
