Katol, Nagpur, Maharashtra base college, Sonatai Pandav Polytechnic, was established in the year 2009. The institute is accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), and it provides diploma courses in engineering disciplines. Located on a 6.32 acres, the polytechnic acquires a student strength of 235 and 29 faculty members. The institute runs 5 diploma courses offering technical education & training in areas of Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Electronics & Telecommunication & Computer Engineering.

Sonatai Pandav Polytechnic provides 5 diploma courses, in which all the courses are under full time. The institute has total of 270 intake across all its courses as approved by the university. It takes three years to complete each of the diploma programmes and these programmes afford the learners intensive knowledge and skills in their areas of specialisation. Therefore the basic requirement is to have good grades in 10+2 examination with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
