Sova Rani D.Ed. College, established in 2017, is an affiliated institution with its campus based in Malda of West Bengal. Being a co-educational institute, it imparts its specialisation in the field of teaching education through its two full-time courses. Bachelor of Education and Diploma in Elementary Education. The National Council for Teacher Education has granted its approval to the college, which functions from a compact campus of 1 acre in area. Sova Rani D.Ed. College offers a focused learning environment to aspiring educators with a total student enrolment  of 97 and a faculty strength of 10.

The college has several facilities to make the learning environment more enriching. There is a library with about 1,500 books that can accommodate 350 students at a time for academic pursuits and general knowledge. Both courses are full-time courses and would, therefore, be considered as intensive courses in view of the teachers-to-be.

Admission to Sova Rani D.Ed. College shall be governed by the rules prescribed by the state government and affiliated university from time to time. The B.Ed. admission on a merit basis, wherein the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and entrance examination form the basis. The admission to the D.El.Ed. course also be made on a merit basis, based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and entrance examination. The college also adheres to any other selection procedures that the state government may require.
