About SCCE Karimnagar
Sree Chaitanya College of Engineering, started in 2004 is a premier educational Institute situated at Karimnagar, Telangana state. This affiliated college, which has received approval from the All India Council for Technical Education, AICTE, is a centre that provides numerous engineering and managerial disciplines. Located in Karimnagar, the college occupies a 7.22 acre of campus and offer 1,857 students intake and 136 faculty members. Currently the college offers 8 courses in 3 degrees encompassing various engineering disciplines as well as management.
SCCE Karimnagar has revealed its goal to encourage the most effective learning environment for the student. Modern laboratories for each department are arranged on the territory of the campus to provide practical experience. The college library was founded in the academic year 2004-2005 then and over the passage of time it has developed into a fully automated library of a large extent with a large number of books and journals. In order to facilitate the students the institution has separate hostel accommodations for boys and girls with 100 and 96 rooms for boys and girls respectively. These hostels offer the basic facilities like iron cots, mattresses, almirahs and mineral water and library and internet facility up to 7 pm during weekdays.
Currently the college conducts a total of 8 courses consisting of full time B.Tech programmes in Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Computer Science and Design. Furthermore, SCCE offers post graduate courses in MBA and MCA. The total sanctioned intake for all courses is 660 students, maximum for B.Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering and B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering which is 120 each.
