Sree Mookambika College of Nursing was founded in 1997, is one of the leading college is situated at Kulashekaram, Kanyakumari District, Tamil Nadu. Run and recognised by the INC, this affiliated college has been defining the future of nursing education for over two decades. The college occupies a forty-acre land and hosts a SCU nursing students comprising of 386 students take different nursing programmes offered at the college. The faculty of the institute comprises of committed 61 professionals, which makes the students/faculty ratio more efficient, suitable for efficient student learning.

It has minimised on facilities that would hamper the learning process of its students and Sree Mookambika College of Nursing has developed the following state of art facilities to improve the learning environment for the students. The facility endowed with first aid equipment is very important because it serves the community to discharge its duties effectively. Students are able to draw considerable knowledge from a vast pool of nursing literature and research information provided by the library. Also for the sports lovers, the college provides very good sports equipments and the fitness centre is a fully equipped gym. Indeed, Sree Mookambika College of Nursing has designed a range of eight courses that span two different degree levels for learners; undergraduate and postgraduate level. Total four ANM courses are offered fully at the institute namely B.Sc Nursing, Post Basic B.Sc Nursing, and optional M.Sc Nursing. The total sanctioned intake for all the courses combined is now on 150 seats because of the leadership’s spirit of instituting quality education but at the same time addressing to the demand for nursing expertise in the country.
