Sri Aurobindo College of Dentistry is situated at Bhawrasla, Indore on the Indore-Ujjain State Highway. It was instituted in the year 2006. It is a constituent college offering curricula approved by DCI in various dental disciplines and with NAAC accreditation. The college covers an area of 8 acres and has a total enrolment of 445 students along with a faculty strength of 321. 10 courses totaling 2 degrees have made Sri Aurobindo College of Dentistry believe itself to be a complete centre for the dental education in Madhya Pradesh.

Sri Aurobindo College of Dentistry provides various facilities which ensure a learning environment perfect for students. Well-furnished, air conditioned rooms are available in single and double occupation as well as triple sharing inside separate hostels for boys and girls. Accommodation Every hostel building has visitor rooms, study areas with internet, and recreation rooms. The central library covers 2460 sq. meters and contains more than 16,000 books and 157 journals. State-of-the-art laboratories, a modern auditorium that can accommodate up to 700 persons, and excellent games facilities indoors and outdoors form the other important part of the college student facilities. The central mess serves nutritious meals all day around the health centre and the gymnasium.

Sri Aurobindo College of Dentistry offers a comprehensive range of dental courses. The college offers under graduate and postgraduate level programme courses. The undergraduate course is led by BDS. Besides undergraduate courses, the institution also offers nine Master of Dental Surgery courses. Some of the specialisations in these MDS courses include Orthodontics, Prosthodontics, Oral Surgery, and Pediatric Dentistry, among others. All course designs are full time. This allows students maximum exposure to the chosen disciplines in more direct ways.

Sri Aurobindo College of Dentistry, Indore-one of the emerging institutions for undergraduate and graduate training in various dental disciplines across India. The college is NAAC accredited and has enlisted candidates into various programs on a very rigorous basis. BDS and MDS courses are NEET national-level entrance-examination based for admission into programs. Sri Aurobindo College of Dentistry's admission cycle coincides with the dates set for the NEET examination. The application process for NEET for the academic year ahead of this one will be from February 6, 2025 to March 6, 2025. 

To qualify for Bachelor of Dental Surgery, candidates must have completed the 10+2 examination in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Considering BDS education. The counseling process which goes together with the merit obtained from the NEET is used to select the students. For entry to MDS, candidates must possess a BDS from a recognized college, plus have qualified through the NEET-MDS examination. The college offers different specializations in MDS with an intake of 3 seats each.

Application Process.

The admission process followed in Sri Aurobindo College of Dentistry is as follows:

1. NEET Registration: Interested candidates must register for the NEET examination through the official NEET website. Application process for NEET 2025 is from February 6, 2025, to March 6, 2025.

2. NEET Examination: Appear on the assigned day for the NEET examination. For exam pattern, syllabus, etc. visit the official NEET website.

3. Result Declaration: Declaration of NEET results. Only such candidates who clear NEET with the applicable cutoff score are said to be admissible at Sri Aurobindo College of Dentistry.

4. Counselling Process: The applicants/prospective students will be called for the counselling procedure. Specific dates and counselling procedure will be by the college or respective state counselling authority.

5. Document Verification: The following documents must be produced by candidates during the counselling:

  • NEET score card
  • 10th and 12th mark sheets and certificates BDS degree certificate and mark sheets (for the MDS applicants)
  • Valid ID proof Caste certificate (if applicable)
  • Any other documents specified by the college

6. Seat Allotment: Candidates will be allotted seats in accordance with their NEET rank after the counselling process.

7. Fee Payment: Aspirants need to pay the fee after allotting the seat to confirm admission.

8. Medical Examination: It may include a medical examination as part of the admission process.

Degree-wise Admission Process

BDS: The NEET examination comprises the admission criteria head that qualifies candidates for BDS entry into the Sri Aurobindo College of Dentistry Program. The BDS program in the college starts with an intake of 100. Core subjects are Physics, chemistry, and biology that were failed at 10+2 level. The fee structure sets the total fee for BDS at Rs 1,050,000.

MDS: Postgraduate studies in dentistry having nine areas of specialization, each 3 seats intaken by Sri Aurobindo College of Dentistry. Admission in MDS occurs based on the applicant's results from the NEET-MDS examination.

The infrastructure is so good with the good laboratories and in the laboratories the college has a lot of items regarding dentistry. The faculties are also good with a a lot of knowledge and a lot of experience

You have not mentioned your category.The cut off for Sri Aurobindo College of Dentistry, Indore in 2019 for general category was 381, for OBC 233 for SC 126 and for ST category it was 134. There isn't any possibility of getting seat with 200 marks if you belong to general or OBC category. If you belong to SC/ST category then you may have chances of getting a seat. These are last year cutoff and the Cut off will change every year depending on various factors like number of candidates appeared, difficulty of exam and number of seats available. You need to score 381 or above if you belong to unreserved category.
