Sri Devraj Urs College of Nursing was started in 1998 and is one of the premier institutions situated in Kolar, Karnataka. Located in a 7-acre space, this affiliated college has been in the business of building careers in nursing education for more than two decades. Sri Devraj Urs College of Nursing aims at offering a full programme in nursing to meet the needs of different levels of education in nursing. The institution offers 8 full-time courses, of which some are undergrad and postgraduate. The overall cumulative approval limit is 194 with regard to all the courses. Available courses include the four-year B.Sc Nursing, which has a carrying capacity of one hundred; the four-year GNM General Nursing and Midwifery, with a capacity of forty; and the two-year B.Sc Post Basic Nursing, with a capacity of thirty. 

At the postgraduate level, this college offers the following M.Sc. nursing specialities with 5 seats each as under: medical-surgical nursing, community health nursing, paediatric nursing, obstetrics, and gynaecological nursing. Also, there is a specialism of M.Sc. in Psychiatric Nursing for which 4 students can be admitted.
