Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara College of Ayurveda and Hospital located in Udupi has been established in 1958. The college and hospital are imparting education and also providing health care in the field of Ayurveda system of medicine. This affiliated college is situated in Kuthpady, Udupi, Karnataka, and the college occupies an area of 21 acres of land. CCIM Recognised Institute offers 19 courses under four degrees awarded to students in the competitive field. Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara College of Ayurveda and Hospital has a total of nineteen courses and offers full-time undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses. The flagship course is the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS), for which the institution gets 75 admissions. The college also provides different MD & MS courses in the Ayurvedic system, which is preferable for 4-6 students. Besides, several Ph.D. programmes exist for Ayurvedic study. The candidates seeking admission for MD and MS in AYUSH courses have to appear for the All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET). A writing test is conducted for 100 marks, and the final merit index out of the same is used as a criterion for the selection of candidates for postgraduate courses exclusively.
